I'm going to make a real effort to get some pictures up on the blog today and tomorrow. I downloaded 274 from my camera this morning, so I've got some catching up to do!
First of all, we do not know anything more about Luke's seizure. We have an appointment with a pediatric neurologist Tuesday, so we will let you know more after that. We are praying it was a freak one-time thing. He is feeling and acting 100% normal and is chafing at the restrictions we've placed on his activities. Fun for mom.
Aubrey and her gifted teacher invited me along on a geocaching field trip towards the end of school. We had a lot of fun hunting for "treasure" here in Hutch. One interesting site we found was about a quarter of a block full of Gwen's favorite thing:

I don't know what kind of birds these were, or why they have congregated here, in the city limits. There were literally thousands of birds, most of them nesting. They filled the overgrown brush and trees in this area only - they didn't seem to spread to the trees nearby.

We brought the boys and Jerry back later in the day to show them our find, and of course the boys had to chase a few. Although this picture looks like it is in the country, there is a huge grain elevator right behind where I'm standing, and a pretty major road about half a block to my left.
I'm heading outside to catch up on some yard work... more later!
