This was the scene this morning when I opened the door to look for our newspaper. Don't think it was there!
The weatherman said we had 18 inches at 8:00 this morning, but it kept snowing until 11:00 or so. We ventured outside to begin digging out...
Jackson gave up. Jerry had to carry him home. He just laid down right in the street and said he was done!
Jerry and I spent about two hours shoveling the driveway. We're thinking a snow blower sounds pretty good about now.
It's a nice, wet snow (i.e. very heavy to shovel), so it will do wonders for the wheat around here. We just saw a pickup drive down our street... there seems to be twelve to eighteen inches on the street with some pretty big drifts. Maybe we can get out soon!
Oh, and they DID cancel Luke's soccer game. Thank goodness!

Luke is getting pretty good with the payloader-why stop with a snowblower? While we need the moisture-not that way-we got along pretty good-had about 10 calves born during the storm and know of two that didn't make it. Dad
