Luke's writing activity for the day was to write a paragraph about the wisest person you know and explain why you admire him or her. Here's his submission:
My Grandpa Bob is the smartest person in my life. It takes a lot of wisdom to solve all the tasks he does. He is a rancher and a farmer. I am very fond of him.
Short, sweet, and to the point. I bet that made your day, Dad!

Nice paragragh Luke! Not only is he wise, but his brains haven't even pushed out that much of his hair so he will probably get even wiser.
